Two Hopewell Pitchers One Has Swag Combing, The Other has a Beautiful Runny Glaze
Several years ago a Friend found sherds of a beautiful runny glazed pottery. This site turned out to be The Missing Abraham Davidson site.We have since learned that Along with Davidson, Frank Warrick ,Robert Sweet and a Potter by the name of Murphree turned pottery at this site.It is turned using a quality clay and of fine workmanship.Once again this is not Sand Mountain Pottery but a fine North Alabama Pottery
